Today, Keith Duffy and My Legacy launched My Legacy Week 2018 which takes place from the 29th October to 4th November.

My Legacy Week is an annual awareness campaign to ask the public to consider leaving a tax-free legacy gift in their will to a charity they care about. Keith Duffy is supporting the campaign this year by pledging to leave a legacy gift in his will and by signing up the Keith Duffy Foundation as a member of the My Legacy group.

Keith Duffy said “Charity has always been extremely important to me and I think it is so important to give back. After setting up the Keith Duffy Foundation in 2015, I realised how important legacy gifts are and how much they can help the work of a charity. I have left my legacy to my charity, The Keith Duffy Foundation; I know that through this, I will be able to make a difference. Making a will is something you have to do but leaving a legacy gift is something everyone should consider. I would encourage everyone to get involved.”

Fergal O’Sullivan, Chairperson of My Legacy, said “There are so many important causes out there that rely on the public to continue their good work. My Legacy Week is a chance for people to learn more about how they can leave a legacy gift in their will, even a small amount would be very gratefully received. Leaving a legacy gift will help our partner charities deliver their services in an uncertain future.”

This My Legacy Week, please support a cause you care about by leaving a legacy gift in your will.
